Getting Involved!

Pray about your involvement. Consider what area of contributions the Lord has prepared you for. It may be in one of these three main ways: Prayer, Financial, or Service.

Prayer:
It is vital to the growth and success of City of Refuge to be in the center of God's will. The only way this can happen is for C.O.R. board members and volunteers to be hearing the voice of God. That's why we need you to partner with us in prayer. We recognize that prayer can move mountains, change lives, and provide for our every need. We believe that according to Matthew 6:33 that if we continue to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, that all of the needs of the ministry will be taking care of by Him.

So whether you spend one minute or one hour in prayer for C.O.R., we recognize that God in His power, will answer the prayers of the righteous. So if you are considering being involved in this ministry in any way, please first consider contributing through prayer.

Here are the areas we need prayer in:

• That God will work on the hearts of the women that will be in the ministry
• That God will continue to provide financially
• That we will stay connected to God
• That God will prepare us for the opening of the home for the first set of women

The Volunteering Spirit:
Do you have the heart of a servant? If you do, C.O.R. Ministries can use you. No matter what skills you have or even if you don't think you have a skill, just give us a call and you just may get the opportunity to be used by God in this ministry. We are always looking for help, so role your sleeves up and see how you can be involved. We are the body of Christ so be a hand or a feet today!
